A new survey of UK men and women by Foster Grant® reading glasses has revealed our most irritating
and annoying habits in the bedroom.
Top of the list for both sexes was their partner snoring along with hogging the duvet, leaving crumbs in
bed and passing wind to name a few of the many things that irritated people. A large proportion of men
and women, over a third, were annoyed that they had to stop reading in bed because their partner wanted
the lights out.
One of the UK’s leading media clinical psychologists Dr Funke Baffour, www.drfunke.co.uk, spoke about
the survey on BBC and commercial radio stations this week. She says, “The battle of the bedroom can be
easily avoided by understanding and accepting each other’s needs and working out solutions for the things
that annoy. It’s all about open communication and compromise between partners and doing practical and
simple things like having two duvets, refraining from eating or passing wind and in the case of reading in
bed, buying a pair of Foster Grant® LightSpecs™ lighted reading glasses. “
“They are a brilliant solution to an age old problem. The tiny lights get light where the person needs it and
are perfect for reading in bed with the lights out so you won’t disturb your partner. In fact, LightSpecs™ are
great to use anywhere where the light is poor and you need to look close-up at something with both
hands free.”
